Once again the news of the day is about Albert Haynesworth and the Redskins training camp.
NFL Training Camp News: MRI Shows No Damage To Albert Haynesworth’s Knee
Haynesworth took a MRI this week on his knee, which is part of the reason he hasn’t participated in training camp to this point, and the results showed no structural damage to the knee.
Now that they’ve looked at that, frustration regarding Haynesworth is brewing within the Redskins, according to Jason Reid of the Washington Post.
Redskins sources: Frustration with Haynesworth rising in organization because conditioning process occupying too many key people too long. Although team knew he would require individual attention at start of camp, feeling internally is he could/should have passed test by now. Team officials perplexed because he continues to perform well on treadmill. “He was flying” on treadmill Thursday, said one source.
SB Nation DC passes along word that coach Mike Shanahan won’t be letting up on his policy that Haynesworth must pass the conditioning test in order to practice.
