The San Diego Chargers won’t be seeing the services of LB Shawne Merriman on Monday Night Football because he’s been ruled out with an Achilles’ injury. His absence was expected as he was listed as doubtful for Monday’s game.

Meanwhile Kara Henderson of NFL Network reports Chiefs WR Dexter McCluster will be a game-time decision.
The Chiefs originally listed McCluster as doubtful with an illness after missing practice on Friday. He later returned to the practice field on Saturday and he’s since been upgraded to questionable.
