Arsenal Goes Up Early Over Braga, Cesc Fabregas Converting From The Spot

Arsenal has gone up after nine minutes against Sporting Braga, with captain Cesc Fabregas converting from the spot to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.

The Gunners were awarded the kick after Braga goalkeeper Felipe brought down Arsenal strike Marouane Chamakh. Fabregas put his try into the upper-right hand corner of goal, giving Arsenal the early lead.

Arsenal is in Group H with Braga, Shakhtar Donetsk and Partizan, the last two teams playing the Ukraine today.
