Holdout Chargers receiver was a popular pick by savvy fantasy football players late in drafts this year. Why not? There was a significant upside if he was ever dealt or if Vincent and the Chargers ever agreed to terms with their receiver on a long-term extension.
Sadly, neither of those developments came to pass and now Jackson becomes essentially useless roster filler for the remainder of the season. Jackson will more than likely not be traded and, even if he and the Chargers make a deal, he won't be able to play until the seventh game at the earliest.

↵Perhaps the only way Jackson shouldn’t be immediately dumped on the waiver wire might be if you took him late in a keeper league. Then again, is a guy with repeated off-the-field issues and in poor standing with his team really worth saving space for, at least for an entire season? Chances are someone thinks so, but that’s quite a risk to take.
