This just in: Knowshon Moreno has been ruled out for the Broncos on Sunday against the Colts.
Knowshon Moreno Ruled Out Of Broncos, Colts Week 3 Game
The news comes as a surprise since Moreno wasn’t listed on the Broncos practice report Wednesday or Thursday.
There’s no word yet on what his injury is. If he wasn’t listed on the injury report Wednesday or Thursday, then he was injured on Thursday afternoon after it was issued or Friday morning before he was ruled out.
Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said of Moreno, ”“He sustained a little something he will not be able to play through this week.”
McDaniels says this means that new running back Laurence Maroney along with Andre Brown will see increased carries.
The Broncos play the Colts on Sunday afternoon.
