NFL Draft 2011: Cincinnati Bengals May Be Eyeing QB Andy Dalton

The Cincinnati Bengals hired Jay Gruden as offensive coordinator earlier this year and Gruden's interest in a quarterback is sparking some 2011 NFL draft rumors. Peter King of SI.com reports that Gruden is a big fan of one quarterback -- but not with the fourth overall pick.

It’s QB Andy Dalton out of TCU.

One quarterback coach I know told me: "It's getting very hard for [Cincinnati offensive coordinator] Jay Gruden to hide how much he loves Andy Dalton.''

The Bengals have had several points of contact within him and apparently the rumor mill is churning that Cincy likes him. Dalton would likely be a second round pick if he fell to the Bengals.

As Cincy Jungle noted last week, it’s looking like the Bengals won’t draft a quarterback with the fourth overall pick, although now would be an important time to remember that April is called Liars’ Season for a reason.

Check out Cincy Jungleto see what Bengals fans think of Andy Dalton.
