The Cincinnati Bengals hold the fourth overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft and their draft plans may have changed dramatically since the end of the season. It was then that we would put receiver, or perhaps offensive line or defensive tackle as one of the Bengals top needs.
2011 NFL Draft: Will Cincinnati Bengals Aim For Quarterback?
Now it may be quarterback. QB Carson Palmer insists he won't return to Cincinnati which, if true, means the Bengals need a quarterback quickly. That would be a significant draft day change and one the Bengals may have to address with the fourth overall pick. Quarterback possibilities at that pick include QB Blaine Gabbert and QB Cam Newton, if either of them are left.
Outside of quarterback, here are a few Bengals draft needs, according to SB Nation’s Cincy Jungle:
The Bengals have the fourth overall pick and the fourth pick in each round. Areas for the Bengals to address include the desperate need for a safety. The Bengals could also use help on the offensive line, at wide receiver, defensive tackle and defensive end -- which also depends on whether the Bengals retain defensive ends Antwan Odom (suspension and injury in 2010) and Robert Geathers (only 10.5 quarterback sacks in the past four seasons).
The Bengals draft are one of the biggest questions we have for April 28th.
