Who’s the Best Hitter in the American League?

Tim Kurkjian just described Miguel Cabrera as the best hitter in the American League.

Yeah, probably. Over the last three seasons, Cabrera's got the highest OPS+ among American Leaguers with at least 1500 plate appearances, he has more plate appearances than the guys (Joe Mauer and Kevin Youkilis) behind him, and he's younger than them, too. (Actually, he's one day older than Joe Mauer. But you get the point.)
