Dwyane Wade did not practice with the Miami Heat on Sunday due to a reported migraine headache. The Heat beat the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference first round series on Saturday, and Game 2 in Miami is scheduled for Monday at 7 p.m.
Dwyane Wade Misses Practice With Migraine, Status For Heat Vs. 76ers Game 2 Unkown
Wade missed a game during the regular season due to migraines, and wore tinted goggles to help deal with bright arena lights. (The NBA later regulated the amount of tint Wade’s goggles could have, deeming that overly tinted goggles disallowed opponents from seeing Wade’s eyes, and that was considered an unfair advantage.)
Wade scored 17 points in Miami's Game 1 win, including five key points after Philadelphia pulled within one point in the closing minutes. The Heat were challenged quite a bit by the Sixers, with Thaddeus Young in particular giving Miami fits. While the Heat are overwhelming favorites, losing Wade for even a game would be rough.
