After missing a huge chunk of time with elbow problems, late inning reliever Rafael Soriano has returned to the Yankees’ bullpen.

Soriano’s been gone since May, when his early-season struggles alerted the team that something was awry. He was diagnosed with elbow inflammation and told to rest, but after resting, Soriano began and completed a throwing program and minor-league rehab assignment without incident. So he’s back now, having appeared in four games in the minors.
