Novak Djokovic just keeps on winning. And so far, the streaking Serbian has run into little resistance at the 2011 French Open.
Djokovic punched his ticket to the second week of the Roland Garros fortnight with a dominant fourth round victory over Frenchman Richard Gasquet. Djokovic, who has yet to lose in 2011, dispatched Gasquet 6-4, 6-4, 6-2, hitting 33 winners to Gasquet’s 16 and winning 89% of his first serve points.

Day 8 of the 2011 French Open is well underway, and one familiar name moved on to the quarterfinals by making quick work of a countryman. Third-seeded Roger Federer defeated fellow Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka, 6-3, 6-2, 7-5, to move on to the second week at Roland Garros.
Federer hit 32 winners and converted five of his six break points against Wawrinka, and made quick work of his fourth round opponent, winning his three sets in one hour and 46 minutes.

Sunday at Roland Garros marks the beginning of the fourth-round of the 2011 French Open as the field has been cut to just 16 on both the men’s and women’s sides. Once again, the Tennis Channel and NBC will split the coverage, beginning at 5 a.m. on the East Coast. Coverage runs all day, with NBC picking up the back-half of the action at 12 p.m. EDT.
