After recently taking over as the head men's basketball coach at the University of Missouri, Frank Haith has had quite a bit of work to do. The Missouri Tigers will lose at least six players this season, while the coaching change stifled recruiting, so Haith is attempting to bolster his roster with some key transfers. It appears he's locked up at least one, as now former Auburn Tigers basketball player Earnest Ross has decided to transfer to Missouri.
Earnest Ross Transfers From Auburn To Missouri Tigers Basketball
Ross was Auburn's leading scorer and rebounder last season, but with no disrespect intended to Ross, that isn't saying a whole lot. Ross's 13.1 points per game and 6.1 rebounds a game in Division I basketball and the SEC are nothing to scoff at, but they're certainly low for program leading numbers. Haith has reportedly reeled in a couple more transfers to go along with Ross in Pepperdine guard Keion Bell and Louisville player George Goode, the latter of whom is eligible to play right away.
