Flames Ask Robyn Regehr To Consent To Sabres Trade, According To Report

According to Darren Dreger of TSN, Robyn Regehr has been asked by the Calgary Flames to waive his no-movement clause in an apparent deal to the Buffalo Sabres. Regehr has been in the NHL for 11 seasons, all with the Flames and has played in 826 games with 163 points.

The deal is not official as of yet and neither the Flames nor the Sabres will comment. According to John Vogl of the Buffalo News, Regehr has been calling former teammates to inquire about Buffalo but it isn’t known whether he will officially waive his no trade clause. Scott Cruickshank of the Calgary Herald obtained the lone quote at the moment from Regehr:

“Can’t really say much,” Regehr said Thursday afternoon. “Just looking at my options right now.”
