How else would you explain what happened in Victorino’s rehab start in Trenton? The appropriate .gif is after the jump.
That’s Victorino hitting a foul ball, and no one telling him until he rounds third. An ump didn’t shout out. A middle infielder didn’t whisper a “Hey, uh, Shane?” It was up to the third-base coach, who also hates Victorino, but just didn’t feel right about the whole thing.
Victorino’s response was to jiggle his crotch, which is one of the reasons that no one likes him.
