Paris Saint-Germain Signs Jeremy Menez From Roma

Sometimes, a transfer doesn't have to be a long, drawn-out affair. Yes, many suspected Jeremy Menez would be leaving Serie A side AS Roma this summer, but possible moves hadn't been dissected endlessly and negotiations didn't drag on for weeks. Instead, the French international has quietly moved to Paris Saint-Germain, the Ligue 1 side having ambitions to win the title next season.

The deal is reported as being for three years and estimated to be around €8m. Menez spent three years at Roma and although he was often a bright, creative force in the midfield, he was also viewed as inconsistent and temperamental. With the giallorossi now under the ownership of Thomas DiBenedetto, and managed by Luis Enrique, the side are setting up a new look for the future. Now the question is -- will that future include Mirko Vucinic, who has been linked to Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United?
