After three quarters, the Dallas Cowboys had a 10-9 lead over the Denver Broncos, but the Broncos scored their first touchdown early in the fourth quarter to take the lead. The Broncos entered the second half with a 9-3 lead, but the Broncos, with Brady Quinn at the helm, couldn’t make anything happen in either of their third-quarter possessions.
Broncos Vs. Cowboys Score: Denver Takes 16-10 Fourth Quarter Lead On Jeremiah Johnson Run
Stephen McGee and the Cowboys’ opening drive of the second half stalled out at midfield, but their second one featured a 26-yard pass to sixth-round pick Dwayne Harris, and ended with a six-yard touchdown pass from McGee to undrafted free agent Raymond Radway.
The Broncos got great field position to start the fourth quarter thanks to an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Quinn threw a 26-yard pass down the middle to Mark Dell, and then the Broncos took back the lead with a 13-yard touchdown run by Jeremiah Johnson, their first touchdown of the game.
