It wasn’t pretty, but the Chicago Bears took care of business on Saturday night, downing the Buffalo Bills, 10-3. Jay Cutler got the start for the Bears, but was quickly out of the game as is customary early in the preseason. And with the way the Chicago offensive line was playing, it was probably a good thing Cutler was out of the game in a hurry.

The Bears gave up nine sacks on the game as Cutler, Caleb Hanie and Nathan Enderle ran for their lives when dropping back to pass. Cutler completed his only pass of the game for a grand total of zero yards, while Enderle led the way with 100 yards and an interception. Hanie was the only player to find the end zone, keeping it himself on a four-yard scamper in the second quarter.
Levi Brown completed seven of 15 passes for 53 yards and an interception for the Bills, with Ryan Fitzpatrick adding 44 yards on seven of nine passing. Naaman Roosevelt led the Bills receivers with three catches for 26 yards. Danny Battan and Shawne Merriman each recorded a pair of sacks, as well.
