While neither Barcelona or Real Madrid lineup is particularly shocking for the second leg of the 2011 Spanish Supercup, they are at least interesting and give us some talking points. Xavi Hernandez and Gerard Pique are now both completely fit after starting the first leg on the bench and start for Barcelona tonight. The same cannot be said for Carles Puyol, and Javier Mascherano will start in central defense in his place. Up top, Pedro is preferred to Alexis Sanchez.

For Real Madrid, Marcelo has no place in Jose Mourinho’s lineup at the Camp Nou. Three position newcomer Fabio Coentrao will start for him at left back. Many thought that Mourinho would switch to a 4-3-3, but he’s stuck with his 4-2-3-1 formation.
FC Barcelona lineup (4-3-3): Valdés; Alves, Piqué, Mascherano, Abidal; Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta; Pedro, Villa, Messi
Real Madrid lineup (4-2-3-1): Casillas; Ramos, Pepe, Carvalho, Coentrão; Khedira, Alonso; Di María, Özil, Cristiano Ronaldo; Benzema
Also, Cesc Fabregas is fit and has made the bench for Barcelona tonight, and it would be a bit surprising if he wasn’t given his debut at some stage.
