It didn't take long for FC Barcelona to take the lead in the second leg of the 2011 Spanish Supercup, but it took even less time for Cristiano Ronaldo to find an equalizer for Real Madrid. After 20 minutes of action at the Camp Nou, the score is tied up at 1-1 on the night, 3-3 on aggregate. Once again, the away goals rule is not in play, so the current score would not decide a winner.
Barcelona Vs. Real Madrid, 2011 Spanish Supercup: Cristiano Ronaldo Provides Los Blancos With Instant Equalizer
The goal was just a tap-in, but there's still some skill involved in being in the right place in the right time. Karim Benzema created the goal with a great in-swinging ball towards the six yard area, and Ronaldo appeared to be the man who got his foot on the ball to tap it past Victor Valdes. It looked like an ice hockey goal of sorts, with Madrid simply throwing as many bodies as possible in front of the net, putting the ball in the same place and hoping that it works. It did.
