Patriots Vs. Buccaneers Score: These Backups Are Not Terribly Entertaining

After a first half that was very interesting for people who do not despise the New England Patriots, things have cooled down a bit in the third quarter of the preseason game between the Pats and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Much like many preseason games, the backups have been neither poor, nor exceptional and are kind of just playing a college football game with a crappy crowd and better uniforms.

The good news is that the default NFL.com feed of this game has Chris Myers and John Lynch on the call. They are competent at their jobs, which is more than can be said for Joe Buck and Terry Bradshaw, who are announcing the injury-laden Eagles-Steelers game.

This quarter's lone bright spot has been New England Patriots third string running back Stevan Ridley, who has once again been very effective.
