Friday’s Little League World Series schedule features four more games between the best Little League baseball players in the world. All four games, featuring a pair of match-ups featuring teams from the United States as well as team’s representing the Middle East & Africa, Canada, Europe and Latin America will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2.
Little League World Series 2011 Schedule For Friday
Friday morning’s first game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. EST with Saudi Arabia, the Middle East & Africa representative, taking on a Langley, British Columbia team representing Canada. The game is scheduled to be broadcast live on ESPN from Volunteer Stadium.
The second game on Friday will be between two USA teams as a team from Cumberland, Rhode Island, will face-off against the Ocean View Little League team based out of Huntington Beach, California in a match-up that pits the West representatives versus New England’s finest. This game will be broadcast live on ESPN and ESPN 3D where available.
The third game on Friday night will take place between Europe and Latin America. Europe’s team comes from Rotterdam in the Netherlands while Latin America’s representatives come from Maracay, Venezuela. This game is scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN2 at 5 p.m..
Friday’s final game features the Great Lakes representatives going against a team from the Mid-Atlantic regional. The Great Lakes team hails from La Grange, Kentucky, whereas Mid-Atlantic’s team will have a bit of a homefield advantage seeing as they’ve traveled just a few hours to Williamsport from Clinton County, Pennsylvania. This game will also be shown live on ESPN and ESPN 3D where available.
