Just a week after Syracuse Orange running back Prince-Tyson Gulley was stabbed at a late night party, Gulley showed up for the start of training camp on Friday.
Syracuse RB Prince-Tyson Gulley In Camp, Suspect Charged In Stabbing
The question remains whether or not he will suit up or if he’ll play anytime soon, but it was a great sign for SU fans who feared the worst when news broke last week.
Gulley is slated as the No. 2 running back on the depth chart behind Antwon Bailey. He is also slated as the No. 1 kick returner and No. 2 punt returner, so Syracuse coach Doug Marrone was clearly counting on Gulley to make an impact this season.
Meanwhile, police have a suspect in the stabbing that sent Gulley to the hospital.
Kivon Davis, of 105 Benedict Ave., Syracuse was accused of felony second-degree assault and misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, Syracuse police said.
