Syracuse’s Prince-Tyson Gulley Out 7-10 Days Following Stabbing Incident

When Syracuse Orange running back Prince-Tyson Gulley was involved in an incident last week that left him stabbed multiple times, SU fans feared the worst. Friday they breathed a sigh of relief when head coach Doug Marrone announced that Gulley would only miss 7-10 days of practice as preseason camp began.

The good news was that sophomore running back Prince-Tyson Gulley, who was stabbed during a melee at a party July 29, was at media day activities and apparently will not face any disciplinary action. Gulley will not practice for about 7-10 days, Marrone said.

Gully is slated as the No. 2 running back, No. 1 kick returner and No. 2 punt returner on the current depth chart so he's expected to be a key contributor for the Orange this season. Antwon Bailey is the starting RB while freshman Adonis Ameen-Moore and sophomore Steve Rene are also expected to vie for playing time.
