The Altoona Curve is a franchise in the Double-A Eastern League, the affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

↵↵Sunday was the last day of their season. They hosted the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Altoona lost -- on a walkoff home run. By the Flying Squirrels... the visiting team.

↵↵How can that be? No, they don’t play by different rules in the Eastern League. Well, except when it rains. And it’s the last day of the season.
