Georgia Pro Day: NFL Scouts Head To Windy Athens

Highly-touted tight end Orson Charles may have his stock drop a bit after his turns in a disappointing 40 time in less than ideal conditions at Georgia’s Pro Day.

Georgia's Pro Day was not held under ideal conditions as winds were reportedly in the 20-30 mph range, but that may not be enough to keep Orson Charles from having his stock drop. The junior, who didn't participate in the NFL Combine, is considered to be one of the top tight end prospects. But his performance in the 40 was still a bit surprising.

Mocking the Draft considered Charles to be the 40th best overall prospect and their second best prospect at tight end after he posted solid, but not necessarily great numbers at Georgia. His high stock is mainly due to his physical attributes, something that took a hit on Monday.

Also working out on Monday for Georgia were offensive lineman Cordy Glenn, center Ben Jones, offensive lineman Justin Anderson, punter Drew Butler, kickers Blair Walsh and Brandon Bogotay, fullback Bruce Figgins, defensive end DeAngelo Tyson, tight end Aron White and safety John Knox.
