NFL Draft 2012: Rams Could Have Some Trade Partners In Round 2

Could the St. Louis Rams trade down for the third time in the 2012 NFL Draft? They hold the 33rd overall pick, the first one in the second round, and already they're getting calls from potential trade partners, according to a report.

The first pick in the second round has become a little more valuable since the NFL changed the draft schedule to Round 1 on Thursday and Round 2 and 3 on Friday. That extra day gives the team holding the first pick of the second round time to shop the pick around.

The object of some teams’ affection is Georgia Tech WR Stephen Hill, whom many teams had rated as a first round pick. Other players, like Courtney Upshaw, could draw interest at the top of the second round.

The Rams are in great shape entering day two as they own the 33rd, 39th and 45th picks in the second round of the draft. They’re free to do just about anything, whether that’s moving up or down.
