Cardinals Sign 1st Round Pick Michael Floyd

As the spring wanes toward summer, more and more NFL teams are inking their selections in the 2012 NFL Draft to contracts so they can avoid holdouts during training camps. Monday brought another signing: Michael Floyd, the Arizona Cardinals' first round pick, signed his deal, helping Arizona get all of its 2012 draft class under contract.

Floyd, who starred at Notre Dame and has multiple arrests on DUI charges, signed a deal worth $10 million over four years, all guaranteed, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. The Cardinals have a team option for a fifth year in the deal, and would likely not hesitate to use it if Floyd develops into the bookend receiver on the other side of Larry Fitzgerald that Arizona has lacked since the days of Anquan Boldin.

Arizona also signed Oklahoma cornerback Jamell Fleming to a four-year deal.
