The Detroit Lions have now officially signed all of their 2012 draft picks to contracts. On Monday, the Lions' official website announced that they have signed the first-round offensive tackle Riley Reiff to a four-year deal worth about $8 million.

Selected at No. 23 out of Iowa, the 2011 All-American and All-Big Ten player was evaluated as one of the best linemen in a very deep 2012 NFL Draft.

The Lions’ official team blog reports that Reiff will be at the Lions’ training camp on Friday. He is expected to compete for a starting tackle position.

“Riley’s on track to play a lot of football for us really early,” said Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan. “He’s an exceptional talent, and he’s a great kid. He’s going to really help us on our offensive line. Where he ends up this year really hasn’t been determined yet. But we’re just happy with what we’ve seen so far. We think he’s going to be a heck of a player.”

Reiff will also receive a $2.6 million signing bonus.
