Cortland Finnegan visited St. Louis and ended up signing a five-year contract with the team.
Kendall Langford, St. Louis Rams Agree To 4-Year $24 Million Deal
As Adam Shefter reports, the deal is for four years and $24 million, with $12 million of that guaranteed. Langford was originally drafted by the Dolphins in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Langford started at defensive end in the Dolphins 3-4 defense for his first four seasons in the NFL. He now joins a young Rams defensive line. Given Langford’s size and ability, he could play either defensive end or defensive tackle.

It should’ve been obvious from the start that St. Louis would be Finnegan’s choice. His former coach, Jeff Fisher, is now the head coach in St. Louis and the Rams recently cleared out a ton of cap space. They also have a major need at cornerback after going through what felt like two dozen corners last season.
The Rams got a lot better on the first day of free agency. Finnegan instantly gives them some credibility on defense. Free agent Jason Jones is also visiting, which could continue the makeover of the Rams defense.

Lloyd has seen varying amounts of success during his nine seasons in which he’s played for five different teams. His best year was in 2010 with the Broncos when he caught 77 passes for 1,448 yards and 11 touchdowns. Not coincidentally, he was coached by Josh McDaniels that year, who also happens to be back with the Patriots as the team’s offensive coordinator.
