The Baltimore Ravens have plenty of talent on the outside with Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith in their receiving corps, but even after the bulk of free agency and the NFL Draft, they didn't have much in the way of depth. They addressed that need on Tuesday, signing free agent wide receiver Jacoby Jones.
Ravens, Jacoby Jones Agree To 2-Year Deal
Jones had a promising first three years with the Houston Texans, but saw his time at wide receiver decrease over the last two seasons. He's continued to play a prominent role on special teams and has value as a return man. Jones has caught just 18 balls in the last two years, but based on his previous three seasons and the Ravens' lack of depth at the position, he could have a chance to play a more prominent role in the Ravens' offense than he did in the Texans' offense.
