Lardarius Webb, Ravens Agree To 6-Year Contract, According To Report

CB Lardarius Webb and the Baltimore Ravens have agreed in principle to a six-year contract, according to a report.

When the Baltimore Ravens extended a first-round tender to restricted free agent Lardarius Webb, it was a good sign they wanted to keep the cornerback in-house, and that's exactly what the Ravens have done. The Ravens have confirmed that they signed Webb to a six-year contract.

Reports have the deal worth a total value of $50 million.

Webb, a 15-game starter last season, was originally drafted by the Ravens in the third round in 2009. He’s developed into a very good cornerback, so the Ravens did what they’ve done with so many of their own draft picks by extending him long term.

Webb is also a returner with 51 punt returns for 499 yards and one touchdown in the last two seasons.

Webb’s deal comes before new contracts for Joe Flacco and Ray Rice, who is on the franchise tag.
