New England Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez active vs. Seattle

After missing three games with an ankle injury, the Pats’ explosive tight end is back in action.

Just what Tom Brady needs: more weapons. After missing three games with an ankle injury, Aaron Hernandez is returning to the field against the Seattle Seahawks in today's 4:05 p.m. ET matchup.

The Patriots were 2-1 with Hernandez out, averaging 37.6 points per game. With just another talented playmaker to worry about, the Seahawks defense could have a long day ahead of it. Brady already has been spreading the ball around to excruciating levels for fantasy owners, so it's a crapshoot how this will affect the targets of players like Brandon Lloyd and Rob Gronkowski.

It’s still to be seen just how healthy Hernandez is, but even at 15-20 plays, that has to be an encouraging sign for New England.
