Jonas Blixt won the 2012 Frys.com Open on Sunday afternoon following a fine performance the last four days. Blixt entered the fourth round at the top of the leaderboard, and two late birdies held off Tim Petrovic and Jason Kokrak to win the title outright.

Blixt shot 16-under par at the Open, including -3 on Sunday. He birded holes No. 16 and 18 to save a round in which he struggled early. Petrovic had a big day while shooting a 64, which propelled him into a second place tie with Kokrak. Kokrak also shot 3-under par to wrap up his tournament.

Jimmy Walker, Vijay Singh, Alexandre Rocha and John Mallinger tied for fourth place at -14 overall. Jeff Overton placed eighth after shooting 13-under par, while Gary Woodland and Russell Knox rounded out the top 10 on the leaderboard with scores of -12.

Ernie Els, who many pegged as the favorite to win the event, shot -5 on Sunday to improve his overall score to 10-under par. He finished in a tie for 16th place. Nicolas Colsaerts, who was another favorite to win the tournament, shot +2 this afternoon to finish at -7
