Frys.com Open 2012 purse: Jonas Blixt wins $900,000

The 2012 Frys.com Open has wrapped up and now it’s time to get the golfers paid for their efforts this week. Jonas Blixt, who won the tournament by one stroke, took home $900,000 for winning the title. Tim Petrovic and Jason Kokrak tied for second place, and they will both receive $440,000. Jimmy Walker, Vijay Singh, Alexandre Rocha and John Mallinger all tied for fourth and add $196,875 to their bank accounts.

Jeff Overton finished in eighth place and will get $155,000. Gary Woodland and Russell Knox rounded out the top 10 on the leaderboard and receive $140,000 for their performances. Martin Flores, Zach Miller, Patrick Reed, Bryce Molder and Charles Howell III all get $106,000 after tying for 11th place. This wraps up all the golfers who took home upwards of $100K this weekend.

As for a few other notable players, Ernie Els won $72,500 after tying for 16th place. Nicolas Colsaerts takes home a little more than $24K following his 35th place finish.
