Raiders vs. Ravens 2012: Oakland beaten in all facets by Baltimore

After being torched by Doug Martin last week, the Oakland Raiders didn’t look any better in a loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

If Oakland Raiders fans believed things couldn't get any worse than last week's embarrassing effort against Doug Martin and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they were proven wrong on Sunday.

Oakland struggled on offense, defense and special teams in a 55-20 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. It was a dismal performance, according to Silver And Black Pride:

And a skeleton of a team the Raiders were in this game. The walking dead. Lurching along looking for brains. And if they ever find any, they should probably use them because this team is not smart.

The Raiders committed three turnovers, including two fumbles, while being penalized 10 times for 105 yards. Even after Baltimore stopped scoring on offense, Oakland allowed a 105-yard kick return for a touchdown to Jacoby Jones in the fourth quarter.

While the 422 yards totaled by the Raiders on offense seem adequate, Carson Palmer and his unit couldn't finish off drives, failing to convert three red zone opportunities and often settling for field goals.

Oakland will look to bounce back from consecutive losses in another tough test next Sunday when it hosts the New Orleans Saints.
