The No. 12 Florida Gators picked up another win on Tuesday with a decisive victory over SEC rivals the Auburn Tigers, but lost a key component of their roster along the way.
Florida’s Will Yeguete Suffers Broken Foot, May Be Done For Season
The Florida Gators lost one of their top players during Tuesday’s loss to Auburn. Sophomore forward Will Yeguete suffered a broken foot and will be out for the rest of the year.

Sophomore forward Will Yeguete, whose 6.3 rebounds per game have him tied for the team lead, took just two shots in the game before departing. According to Kevin Brockway of Gatorsports.com, it appears that Yeguete's injury won't allow him to return any time soon.
Beyond the rebounds, the Gators will be losing a prolific scorer. The Auburn game is one of only two games in the 2011-12 season in which Yeguete appeared and did not reach double digits in scoring. He had scored 20 points or more in 12 of his previous 15 games before Tuesday night.
Although the Gators are far from a one-trick pony, you can bet they will be missing Yeguete during the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
