There was some concern when Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre appeared to injure his hamstring, but it turns out Beltre didn’t actually injure his hamstring at all, and he’s going to be fine.
Adrian Beltre Hamstring Injury Not A Hamstring Injury At All
Like a few other Texas Rangers, Adrian Beltre is an outstanding player whose only real problem is staying on the field. Last season, Beltre missed several weeks with a strained left hamstring. Over the weekend, Beltre appeared to strain his left hamstring again, and so there was some concern that Beltre would be sidelined for a significant stretch.
Beltre pretty quickly denied that this new injury was serious. And now tests have revealed that the injury isn’t even the injury people thought it was:
