SI's Peter King says during his visit to Redskins training camp, he counted five designed runs for rookie QB Robert Griffin III during 11-on-11 play in one afternoon practice.
Redskins May Start Calling Designed Runs for QB Robert Griffin III: Fantasy Implications
The Redskins may start calling some designed runs for Robert Griffin III. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: This has to make Redskins fans and fantasy owners cringe a little considering how much the team gave up to get him. As King points out, Griffin doesn't have the size of Cam Newton, so the idea of him running brings injury risk into play. But he also wasn't drafted to just stand in the pocket and take hits either. Griffin's fantasy value will depend on his ability to throw well and run smartly. Right now he has more value in keeper and dynasty leagues than in a year-to-year format, where he is a backup with high potential. We should have a better idea about what he can do as the preseason goes along. Washington plays Chicago on Saturday.
