New Orleans Saints interim coach Joe Vitt says RB Darren Sproles will likely miss the team's upcoming preseason game against Jacksonville. Larry Holder of The Times-Picayune reports that Sproles hurt his knee against the Patriots. Vitt says, however, that if it was a regular-season game that Sproles would be able to play. Sproles was held out of practice on Monday as a precaution.
Saints RB Darren Sproles Likely to Miss Jaguars Game: Fantasy Implications
Saints RB Darren Sproles will likely miss the team’s upcoming preseason game against Jacksonville. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Sproles is a great value in fantasy football, especially in PPR leagues, so it’s good to hear that he could play if this was a regular season game. He accounted for more than 1,300 total yards last season with 86 catches and 87 carries. New Orleans has a lot ways to spread the football around, but Sproles will get plenty of chances. He is not a No. 1 fantasy back but a solid No. 2 who can have some big games.
