Evelyn Lozada is ending her marriage to former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson after filing for divorce on Tuesday following Johnson's arrest for domestic battery over the weekend.

The couple was married for only 41 days before the two had an altercation on Saturday that allegedly started after Lozada found a receipt for a box of condoms. Johnson was accused of headbutting Lozada and opening up a three-inch gash on the reality star’s forehead.
The two were set to start in a VH1 reality TV show called “Ev & Ocho”, but the series was shelved after Johnson’s arrest.
Johnson was released from jail on $2,500 bond Sunday afternoon and was let go by Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin later in the day after the two discussed the incident.
