Chad Johnson Pleads No Contest, Receives One Year Of Probation
Johnson was charged after former wife and reality TV star Evelyn Lozada said he head-butted her during an argument. She filed for divorce shortly after. The couple had been married since July 4.
Johnson didn't enter the season on an NFL team after entering training camp with the Miami Dolphins, who cut the six-time Pro Bowl selection shortly after the incident with Lozada went public.
Johnson was a star for the Cincinnati Bengals before a one-year stint with the New England Patriots last season.
