The Giants narrowly avoided a merchandizing disaster this week, when they were able to cancel an order for 20,000 Melky Cabrera shirts for a September 8 giveaway. The shirts were changed to honor Angel Pagan. You can probably buy tickets from a scalper if you don’t want to pay the price for the shirt on eBay.

↵In somewhat-but-not-really-related news, Tuesday night is still Hunter Pence bobblehead night in Philadelphia.
