All Hail Our New Tebow Overlord

It’s pretty clear that nobody will ever be able to get enough Tim Tebow news, tidbits, factoids, gossip, glamor shots, speculation, idle chatter or general updates. Why, sometimes it scarcely seems like anyone will ever be able to successfully plumb the depths of America’s very favorite person. That’s why Tuesday’s news is so infinitely pleasing: Tim Tebow is considering running for public office when his football days are over.

CBS New York brought us the good news on Tuesday, making sure to lead with an excruciatingly awful pun that doesn’t make a lick of sense and that I won’t repeat here. But here is the entirety of the Tebow quote in question.

“I haven’t ruled it out. Whatever avenue I feel like I can make a difference in, I’d love to do,” the Jets’ backup quarterback told ESPN New York. “I haven’t ruled out anything like that. It won’t be anytime soon in my future, but it’ll be something I’ll at least look at and consider one day.”

He hasn't ruled it out! It it too early to start printing up "TEBOW 2016" shirts? Because it would be cool to make A GUARANTEED BILLION DOLLARS. Of course, there's no way that Tim Tebow's football career will be over in four years. Not a future Hall of Fame player like him. Nope. No chance at all.

Tim Tebow is entering the world of politics everyone. We’re really doing this. It’s really happening. This is how ESPN starts covering politics. This is possibly how the world ends. Either way, it’s gonna be Tebow-tastic.
