Cowboys tight end Jason Witten lacerated his spleen in the preseason opener on Aug. 13. 23 days later and he's active for the Cowboys-Giants season opener.
Is Jason Witten Tough Or Stupid?
Is this an incredible act of toughness for Witten? Or is this a really stupid move?
He’s tough:
Jason Witten active. Jason Witten warrior.

I don't care if you don't like the Cowboys. I don't. Even if you're a Redskins fan, you HAVE to respect Jason Witten. That dude is so tough.

Jason Witten is a tough guy. Never doubt that.

Tony Romo wasn’t kidding about Witten playing — and just 22 days after lacerating his spleen, which hurts me just to type. What a tough SOB.

He’s stupid:
Less "warrior", more "stupid" RT @adamschefter: Jason Witten active. Jason Witten warrior.

I don't care if Witten scores 5 touchdowns. Where's Goodell? This is really stupid.

Maybe a little of both:
Wow, Jason Witten and his leaky spleen is active for tonights game. There's a fine line between dedicated and stupid. Hope he didnt cross it
