The matchup against Green Bay was seen as favorable, given that the Packers have a poor secondary and Matthew Stafford throws as much as any quarterback in the league. But with Johnson and No. 2 receiver Nate Burleson out, the offense struggled and only managed a couple field goals in the loss.
Johnson officially practiced all three days this week, and was limited in all of them. He did the most work on Friday, but was still primarily relegated to position drills and solo workouts. He’ll be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game. The Lions definitely need his help, given that the Browns are a winning team so far this season, and boast a strong defense.
Fantasy Impact: It seems likely that Johnson plays in this one. He was reportedly close to playing in Week 5 and has practiced every day leading up to this game. Johnson is the top receiver in the game today and the Lions know they need to win football games right now. Go ahead and start him, unless you hear otherwise prior to kickoff.
