Update: Cecil Shorts will not return.
Cecil Shorts injury: Jaguars WR sprains shoulder
The already-battered Jaguars may have lost their leading receiver for the rest of the day.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts suffered a sprained shoulder in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos, the team announced. He's questionable to return for the lopsided contest.
With Justin Blackmon missing the first four games of the season due to suspension, Shorts has been the go-to receiver for Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne. The third-year wideout came into today's game with 31 receptions for 411 yards and one score.
Shorts is on pace to set career-highs in receptions and yards after grabbing 55 passes for 979 yards in 2012. A fourth-round draft pick from Mount Union, Shorts has been one of the more productive receivers in a draft class that also included A.J. Green and Julio Jones.
If Shorts doesn't return, the Jaguars' 29th-ranked passing game will have to rely on Blackmon and a combination of Ace Sanders and Stephen Williams. Jaguars quarterbacks have combined for just three touchdowns and nine interceptions in 2013.
