NHL on Wednedsday: Rangers rally, but Penguins win in shootout

It’s not like Dumoulin and Despres are anchors out there either. Both of them have a decent set of wheels, and neither one was any match for Hagelin as he picked up the puck at his own blue line and just blew past everybody.

The goal was Hagelin’s seventh of the season and tied the game, 1-1.

“Over the next week, Josh will make a minor adjustment to his treatment protocol,” Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher said in a team statement. “Josh feels great and he looks forward to rejoining our team.”

This season he’s been the feel-good story of the NHL as he’s been one of the league’s best goalies, posting a .939 save percentage in his first 27 games.
