Stevan Ridley is active for Patriots, presents little fantasy value
Stevan Ridley is expected to suit up after being inactive in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley is expected to be active on Sunday, according to a report by NFL Network's Albert Breer.
Ridley was a healthy scratch during the team's Week 13 matchup versus the Houston Texans, but he appears on track to reclaim a spot in the backfield. Ridley enters a crowded rotation that already featured Shane Vereen and LeGarrette Blount, with Brandon Bolden being used in a change of pace role in Ridley's absence. It is unclear to what extent Ridley is involved in the game plan.
Fantasy Spin: After being benched without any injury, the little trust that fantasy owners had in Ridley went out the window. Even if he is back in action, there is nothing that suggests that Ridley will get enough reps to be fantasy relevant. When active, Ridley’s usage has been all across the spectrum, getting as many as 26 carries in a game and as few as four.
As a result, fantasy owners are best suited leaving such an inconsistent option on the bench during the first week of fantasy football playoffs. Vereen remains the most attractive Patriots running back to fantasy owners.
