Lance Armstrong refuses to comply with USADA wishes for full debrief

Lance Armstrong once again refused to comply with the USADA, as he refused to submit a debrief to the anti-doping agency, which would detail how the famed cyclist was able to cheat for so long.

Lance Armstrong and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency simply don’t see eye-to-eye. Armstrong once again decided against cooperating with the USADA, refusing to submit a full debriefing to the agency on how he was able to cheat the sport for so long.

According to USA Today, Armstrong still has “several issues” with the USADA, and will consequently not cooperate with the doping agency’s wishes.

If Armstrong cooperated with the USADA, he could have had his lifetime ban from cycling reduced. Instead, Armstrong will have to live with the lifetime ban.

Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles in October 2012 and banned from cycling by the International Cycling Union, after the USADA published a damning report which shed light on Armstrong’s doping throughout his career.

Since then, Armstrong has been stripped of his 2000 Olympic medal, as well as his Boston and New York marathon times.

Armstrong appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s show in January, and admitted to doping -- despite denying allegations for years.

Despite the admission, Armstrong still refuses to cooperate with the USADA.
