    So, to recap: Drew Miller did not touch the puck at all. And yet, the referees called it a no-goal. Unfortunately Dany Heatley’s hand looked like Drew Miller’s stick. Or something.

    I guess the redeeming part about this bad play is that Pierre McGuire was emphatically wrong.

    We all like to make fun of Pierre McGuire and the like often. But perhaps we aren’t giving these between-the-bench reporters enough credit, because sometimes their own critics are right next to them.

    If only St. Louis had heckled Ferraro.

    Can Hawks top Ducks without Hossa?

    Arguably the two best teams in the NHL this season, the Blackhawks and Ducks will meet for the second time this season. In their first meeting, the Ducks managed to pull out a 3-2 shootout victory. Currently separated by five points in the standings, the Blackhawks have won three-straight and will look to keep the streak going, in addition to distancing themselves from the Ducks.

    Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville officially announced that Hossa will not be available. In the previous game against the Ducks, Kane logged 24:22 of ice-time (the game went to overtime). Kane has been double-shifted at times this year. With Hossa out of the lineup, will he receive more ice-time?
